VSSA Viewpoint Annual Book Fair: Details & Guide
Thank you for joining us at the VSSA Viewpoint Annual Book Fair! We’re thrilled to welcome families, students, and teachers for a day filled with books, music, and community spirit. Below you’ll find everything you need to know to participate in the event, support the VSSA, and make the most of your Book Fair visit.
Event Overview
Date & Location: The Book Fair will be held at Barnes & Noble, Calabasas on February 10, 2026.
Festivities Begin: The event is all day from 10am – 7pm but be sure to join us right after school for performances and activities, starting at 3:30 PM.
Activities: Enjoy the Parent Book Chat, Author Readings, Student Orchestra and Musical Performances, plus our exciting Raffle!
How Your Purchases Support VSSA
During Book Fair week, a portion of all sales at Barnes & Noble Calabasas will be donated to VSSA.
If you can’t attend the event, you can still support VSSA by visiting the store another day this week.
Show the QR code at checkout, or mention VSSA, to ensure your purchase counts toward the fundraiser.
How to Get Books for Your Teachers
When you arrive, go upstairs to find bins labeled for each classroom. These bins contain books specially chosen by your teachers.
Locate your teacher’s bin and invite your child to pick which books they’d like to give to their teacher.
Purchase the selected books. Be sure to show the QR code or inform the cashier that your sale is for VSSA.
Stop by the table at the front entrance to receive a special name plate for your books. Your student can write their name inside to personalize the gift.
Take the books home and bring them to school the next day to present as a gift to your teacher.
And the best part, know that your thoughtful gift will be remembered and appreciated by your teacher for years to come.
Raffle Participation
Every $20 spent on books earns you one raffle ticket; spending $100 earns six tickets!
Show your receipt to VSSA volunteers at the store entrance to receive your raffle tickets and view the prizes.
Write your name and phone number on each ticket, then drop them into the boxes for the prizes you want to win. The drawing will be held at 7:00 PM. Winners will be contacted the next day, you don’t need to be present to win.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Your participation makes a difference. Every book purchased, every ticket entered, and every smile shared helps build a stronger VSSA community. Let’s make this Book Fair unforgettable together!
