Responsibitlies:

Job Description

Work closely with Viewpoint School’s Director of Support Services and SAGE Dining Services to ensure the lunch program runs smoothly throughout the year.
Help supervise the serving of Hot Lunch throughout the year.

Oversee Hot Lunch Managers

Select responsible managers/supervisors to oversee daily lunch service
Train the Managers on the registers and rules of serving the children.
Make sure all volunteers are following protocol.
Prepare an information folder for the Hot Lunch Servers, Managers and Supervisors explaining their job duties.
Host a meeting at the beginning of the school year to train all Hot Lunch Room Parents, Managers and Supervisors.

Daily Volunteers

Maintain a volunteer calendar/schedule of days throughout the school year in which hot lunches will be served by division and by class.
Sign up Genius – Maintain and monitor daily to make sure the food service needs are met.

Attend monthly VSSA Meetings & all major VSSA Events
